Update on Events The Banning High Varsity football team will hold it's final scrimmage on Friday, September 5, 2008 aganist South Gate. Come on out and see your 2008 Pilots. The football stadium is just about finished. There are only a few more things to finish and should be done in the next few weeks. Our field will be dedicated by LAUSD will be holding a Field Dedication Ceremony on September 11th at 6:00 P.M. This will be one night prior to our first home game against Los Angeles High School. That night we like to have as many of our Alumni as we can. So please let everyone know about the dedication coming up. Our press box will also be dedicated and know as the “John M. Mendez” Memorial Press Box. We also have a brand new sound system for the stadium. Our principal fought for one and achieved his goal. It will be nice and loud.
